So I'm having an issue using the markdown block on my sites footer (http://samuelabrooks.squarespace.com). I have two markdown blocks next to each other but one always floats just below the other one in terms of position on the page.
I'm guessing this is a bug?
I guess you're talking about the footer?
When you drag and drop that second (right hand side) element into place, make sure that the blue line's flag reads "Column" and not "Float".
if you've already done that, post back and let us know. I've had this issue before and I managed resolve it ... but unfortunately, can't recall the exact steps now.
Hey, thanks for the response Silver. Unfortunately it did not work, the only option I have when placing it next to the other block is "column" which obviously isn't working but I'm not seeing the float option at all while editing the footer.

Just by looking at your code, it looks like there is an extra paragraph in your Markdown block and that is adding the spacing on the top of the block on the right.
Thanks Foley, you were correct. When viewing it in preview mode it freaks out and doesn't know what to do. I didn't close my statement so I left the right block open without a closing bracket eg. ... instead of
lalala
.Thanks everyone for your help! :)
