I've seen a couple of posts asking how to ensure a Farro or similar layout is replicated both on mobile and tablet - however my issue is that I've designed my site using Farro on a shiny huge iMac screen, and it works perfectly in all different browsers, and I've resized my screen to know how it will look on mobiles and tablets (all good so far!) however two people have now tried to view it on a MacBook, and on both it reverts to the tablet layout for the blog.
I'd designed it to use the 'packed' layout, which looks amazing on screen, and okay on mobile devices, but I can't for the life of me work out why on MacBooks it's auto-resizing as though it's a tablet.. as though the layout is just too much for a laptop to handle? This seems insane!
Ca anyone help?
My site is (sadly) now live here: www.leeallenphotography.com
I've tried fixes such as grudgingly reducing the site width to just 1200px and minor design tweaks to try and make it work.. best I could do was switch the design layout from 'packed' and 3:2 horizontal, to 'grid' and 'widescreen'... but that's not the aesthetic I want at all! So frustrated, as I was sure I'd nailed it, and now I'm worried I'm going to have to temporarily try and revert back to our much older clunkier template until I resole this.
