I am working with the Bedford template in Squarespace 7 and I have a site laid out for a client. We both dislike the sidebar nav or at least how it is styled in the Bedford template. I would very much like to have this vertical navigation moved to the top of the page, just after (under) the hero image and immediately before (above) the next content, as well as being horizontal instead of vertical. I've tried modifying the div class associated with the div container which holds the sidebar nav with the css "display: block;" and it moves the nav from it's leftmost position to before (above) the next content and after (below) the hero image, however, it is still a vertical nav. I need the nav to be horizontal. I'm not sure if I should be modifying the css of the nav element within the div container, or keep playing with the div container. Any pointers or tips would be much appreciated.
