Squarespace Answers is a community forum dedicated to providing peer-to-peer solutions for Squarespace products. The goal is to maintain an environment that is inviting to all Squarespace users, at any level of technical knowledge. No question is too simple and no problem is too small–in fact you may find many others with the same questions.
The purpose of Squarespace Answers is to provide relevant solutions for the community. Whether you’re posting a question, commenting, or answering please keep in mind the following guidelines:
Be positive– Squarespace Answers is a judgement-free forum for providing solutions to users with any level of technical expertise. Any negativity or criticism toward others will be removed by the community.
Ask a single question per post– Posts with multiple questions may be edited to remove additional questions.
Ask questions that are answerable– Overly vague or general questions diminish the usefulness other users may find in your post. Questions should have an objective answer.
Only provide relevant and accurate information– Excessive or false information won’t help others seeking solutions and may be removed.
For more information on what types of questions are appropriate, you can reference our FAQ below.

Questions containing the answer itself: “I accomplished __. Here’s how I did it!”

Your title should be in the form of a question and expressed as concisely as possible. You are more likely to receive a solution if the community can easily understand your question simply by its title.
Bad title: “Need CSS Help!”
Good title: “Can I control the height of my banner image in the Bedford template using CSS?”
Bad title: “Form submission reload? HELP PLEASE!”
Good title: “How can I have my form block reload the page after submission?”
The title of your post should contain the general question you are asking and the body of your post should contain the specifics of that question. The more detailed you are the better. You should include code, examples, images or links to your site to give context to your question. Always remember to be as grammatically correct as possible to make it easy for the community to assist you.
The Squarespace community, including developers and other users. Squarespace employees moderate the forum and occasionally respond to posts. The goal of Answers is to create a self-moderating community.
Sometimes. While some Squarespace employees are active within the forum, this does not guarantee that they will respond to your post. Answers is a community based Q&A forum. If you have a question only Squarespace can answer (such as questions about your billing or account) you should reach out to the Customer Care team directly here.
While third-party goods or services may provide solutions for the questions you’re answering, use caution when promoting them on the forum. Any answer that is found by the community to intentionally lead to a good or service without first answering the question at hand may be removed. Requests to be hired or to hire others are prohibited.
Posts that are deemed to be too subjective or unanswerable may be removed by the community or Squarespace moderators. For rules on participating in the forum, you can reference the "Posting Guidelines" above.

An answer, which provides solutions for the question being asked, should be typed in the text field titled "Your answer". This appears at the bottom of the question. If you are trying to request clarification from another active user on a post, select "Reply" or "Comment" and @mention that user. You should not request information by submitting an answer.
If you see spam on the forum, click the cogwheel (gear) icon next to the post title and select “Report”. This will send the question, answer, or comment to the moderators for review.
